We offer
programs in both domestic and international adoptions as well
as approving homes to accept foster children whose goal is

Chrysalis House Inc. is excited to announce that we are among a number of select adoption agencies worldwide that have been recently licensed by the Chinese Government to complete "special needs" adoptions from China. Many of the “special needs” children have correctable or minor medical concerns. Some have more serious medical problems. Any child, regardless of health, who is over the age of six years, is automatically classified as a special needs child due to his/her age.
Currently the wait time for adopting through China’s regular program is more than 4 years. Families that have those "special parenting qualities" can apply for the Special Needs Program and typically shorten that wait to as little as 12 months.
